Australian Staffing Agency has been a boutique recruitment provider for over 20 years.
We have several clients within th Warehousing, Production and Manufacturing industries that are looking for experienced Warehouse Assistants and production workers.
Various roles and locations available including Ravenhall, Altona, Tullamarine and Port Melbourne.
These are ongoing positions working Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am - 4:30pm. There are opportunities for permanency for the right candidates.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Packing on fast paced conveyors and production lines
- Assembly and use of basic hand and power tools
- Pick Pack and RF scanning
- Basic computer work (updating systems/ printing labels etc)
- Use of pallet jacks and tuggers
- Assisting with basic maintenance and cleanliness of warehouse
- Other general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
- Exceptional communication skills both written & verbal with high attention to detail and accuracy
- RF scanning and pick pack experience
- Forklift license an advantage
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift up to 25kg
- Have full working rights in Australia
