Our client is an esteemed Australian-owned and operated food film producer, boasting a diverse portfolio of premium-quality, tailor-made fresh food film products. Their vision is centered on generating value for customers through the utilization of innovative technologies and advanced manufacturing platforms at their Preston facility.
This would be an ongoing position with view to transition into a permanent role.
You will be required to work 3-4 days a week on a weekly rotating 12-hour roster alternating between day and night shift. ( 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am)
As a Machine Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and be at the forefront of delivering high-quality products.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a machine operator in the plastic manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Knowledge of safety regulations and GMP, FMCG Practices
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks and lift up to 15kg (repetitive lifting)
- Forklift license an advantage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Own reliable transport
