Position Overview
As a Quality Training Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and operational excellence of our business. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and assessment solutions primarily in the areas of Safety and Operations, across both Bar and Prefabrication workshops as well as Logistics. We are seeking a candidate who is not only knowledgeable but also possesses a genuine passion for developing the skills and knowledge of others.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (overtime may be required during peak periods)

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety assessments and identify and mitigate immediate risks
- Implement and maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and deliver training programs in Safety, Quality Assurance, and Operations
- Maintain accurate training documentation and records
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address training gaps and ensure continuous improvement
- Champion the Safety Leadership journey through exemplary behaviors
- Participate in monthly meetings and provide accurate project forecasts
- Assist in the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
- Experience in training and assessment, preferably in a production and logistics background
- Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general computing skills
- Knowledge of competency-based training systems and ISO requirements for welding assessment
- Understanding of construction industry practices and safety regulations
- High school education or equivalent
