The Opportunity:
As a Technical Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in matching, developing, and maintaining formulations. You'll provide essential support to internal R&D, Customer Service, and Sales teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate colour matches are delivered within specified timeframes, meeting business and market expectations.
- Maintaining existing formulations across Australia.
- Responding to customer complaints promptly and accurately.
What You Bring:
- Quick adaptability to company systems and product ranges.
- Can do attitude
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A customer-first mindset.
- Related industry experience is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in ERP systems
STILLS & EXPERIENCE:
While experience in colour matching is advantageous, we value candidates who possess:
- Colour matching experience in plastic (highly desirable)
- Plastics industry experience
- Knowledge of colorants & polymers
- Knowledge of Additives and processes.
- High level industry work experience &/ or Tertiary Science studies
